Wine in a Can? Yes, Please!

I recently got the chance to taste the amazingness that is Barokes Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz & Merlot. It was a Friday night, and I just finished class. I decided to stop by Unimart Greenhills since I plan to just lay in my bed, cook, and pamper myself for the rest of the weekend. I proceeded to go to the beverage section, hoping I could get something tasty and relaxing to drink. That’s when I saw it–the Barokes Sparkling Wine. I wanted to treat myself to something nice and new, and it’s also been popular among my org mates, so I thought, why not give it a try?

The Taste:

I had no expectations upon purchasing the product, after all, I haven’t had enough experience with wine. I cooked some beef to pair with the wine while watching Modern Family. I must say, I was impressed! My favorite thing about it is its unique and addicting taste. It was perfect for a night when you want to treat yourself and just relax.

The Packaging:

I like how it doesn’t make red wine look as intimidating as it already is. It has canned packaging which is very convenient and great for single servings. It’s also very accessible in the grocery store and looks invigorating. Overall, it’s perfect for people like me,  in their early 20s, who want to try wine. 

The Value:

For Php 249, it’s already a bang for your buck! The 250ml serving is just perfect. Sometimes, I can’t even finish it so I still have something to drink the next day. Compared to other prices in stores, this is already worth it given its unique taste and quality.

The Verdict:

Would I repurchase this? Hell yes! It’s one of the drinks that makes me not regret trying something new. It’s perfect for wine beginners like me who want a little bit of alcohol in their system and enjoy something nice after a long day. Trust me, this is a must-try!
